Addicition Recovery ClinicianPURPOSE: The Addicition Recovery Clinician will provide counseling services to Agency clients with specialization in the field of addiction and its effects on the individual, families and the community. The emphasis will be service delivery in and for the Jewish community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvides screening, assessment, outpatient treatment, and referrals to agency clientsProvides individual, conjoint, family and group counselingDevelop and conduct psycho-educational programsConsult with and serve as resource to agency staff regarding the disease of addictionCollaborate with Outreach/Prevention and Education staffEstablish relationships with other complementary providers in the communityOther duties as assigned.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEClinical Master's Degree in related field with basic licensure LMSW or LAPCKnowledgeable in and/or experienced with The American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) criteria for treatment required.Experience working with individuals, families and groups.
