About the Role Assist the Director of Engineering in all aspects of hotel and building maintenance including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint, and decorating. Respond to inquiries and problems efficiently, courteously, and professionally to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with Four Seasons policies.Essential Functions Assist in hiring, training, supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluation of maintenance staff; plan activities and conduct daily spot checks. (25%)Ensure proper execution of work order/request system and follow up items as necessary. (15%)Prepare requisitions for purchase and work orders, liaising with the Director of Purchasing. (15%)Implement preventive maintenance schedules, policies, and rules to ensure an efficient department. (10%)Maintain logs on movement of stock items and tools; monitor distribution. (10%)Comply with and enforce Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as per EmPact. (10%)Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. (10%)Take daily meter readings on heat, light, and evaluate consumption.
