Job Summary Responsible for overseeing sales operations within a region, driving strategic initiatives to achieve sales targets, and fostering customer relationships. An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be required and run by the company.Responsibilities Drive regional sales strategy in collaboration with Vice President of Sales, District Sales Managers (DSMs), and General Managers (GMs) ensuring alignment and achievement of overall business goals.Recruit, train, and develop sales teams, focusing on sales techniques, market dynamics, and pipeline building programs.Champion human resources processes within sales, including hiring, coaching, and performance management of field sales associates.Facilitate frequent sales calls and coaching sessions to identify growth opportunities and remove barriers to success.Develop and execute regional sales strategies and initiatives, leveraging data analytics and KPIs to assess performance and drive growth.Hold sales teams accountable for achieving sales targets and adopting business initiatives through regular performance reviews.Partner with operations to enhance customer service, resolve disputes, and support call and counter sales growth.Manage customer and supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and product availability, and develop strategic accounts.Make decisions regarding new programs or initiatives that have significant business impact.Manage a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management or supervisory staff.Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally there may be a requirement to stoop or lift light material or equipment (typically less than 8 pounds). The role typically requires overnight travel more than 50% of the time.Education and Experience BS/BA in a related discipline.Generally 7+ years of related experience.Certifications may be required; an advanced degree may offset fewer years of experience in some disciplines.Qualifications Significant experience in sales management, including leadership roles in achieving sales targets and managing teams.Strong leadership abilities with a proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams to maximize performance and meet business objectives.Expertise in developing and executing regional sales strategies, utilizing data analytics and KPIs to drive growth and market penetration.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolve issues, and enhance customer satisfaction.#J-18808-Ljbffr
