Webber, an industry leader in construction and infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Estimator to join our team.Your RoleThe position of Estimator will analyze, prepare and review bids for heavy civil projects (roadway, highway, bridge, etc.). Must have experience estimating on large projects ($50m+). All delivery methods.What You Will DoAccess cost effectiveness of products, projects or services.Track actual costs relative to bids as the project develops. Track actual commodities pricing that may impact cost before bid or during buy‑out phase.Consult with clients, vendors, and other departments to discuss projects and formulate strategies, estimates and resolve conflict issues.Confer with engineers, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.Review plans and specifications for compliance with industry standards (utility and water/wastewater treatment plant projects).Review correspondence during the bidding phase (Plans, Specs, Bid Forms, RFIs, Clarifications, Addenda).Administer full‑cycle take‑offs and pricing for your divisions, including subcontractor coordination, evaluation, bid prep and submittal.Maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors and subcontractors using SmartBidNet.Prepare sub‑bid analysis documents for use by the project team.Prepare electronic estimates including preliminary cost information.Prepare documentation used by management for planning, organizing and scheduling work.Who You AreExperience in all delivery methods (Hard Bid, CSP, CMAR, CMGC, Design Build).A minimum Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar.Experience with estimating software (AutoCAD, Primavera, Timberline, WinEst, etc.).Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, Word.Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.Teamwork capability in pre‑construction stages.Valid driver's license for occasional travel.BenefitsCompetitive base salary and bonus potential.Company vehicle, fuel card and toll tags.Comprehensive benefits and commitment to equal employment opportunities.401(k) match up to 6%.Learning and development programs and education reimbursement.Opportunities for professional growth in a company that values innovation and sustainability.A collaborative culture that values each team member.Equal Employment OpportunityWebber, a Ferrovial company, is an equal opportunity employer.
