Position Printpack, a privately‑held packaging manufacturer with revenues in excess of $1 billion, is seeking an Associate General Counsel . This hybrid‑work position will be based at our Atlanta corporate headquarters in Vinings and will report directly to the Vice President and General Counsel. The role requires a broad business perspective and the ability to craft business‑relevant legal solutions.Key Responsibilities Provide hands‑on counsel to all levels of the organization; identify and analyze legal issues, draft commercial documents, present clear recommendations, and ensure legal compliance.Structure, negotiate, draft, and close a wide variety of complex agreements with customers and vendors, including technology contracts, equipment purchases, services agreements, sales agreements, and related documents.Respond promptly to legal requests from client groups and deliver timely, pragmatic, business‑focused advice.Work cross‑functionally with sales, finance, engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to move the business forward.Establish trusted advisor relationships with the business and proactively seek ways to improve legal services and business outcomes.Qualifications JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.Admitted to practice in Georgia.Experience practicing corporate/transactional law, preferably in both firm and in‑house settings.Strong drafting and negotiating skills.Excellent academic credentials.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Collaborative and team‑oriented mindset.Motivated self‑starter capable of working under pressure and juggling competing priorities.Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to devise pragmatic, creative solutions for problems, opportunities, and business strategies.Prior experience providing substantive/technical legal advice and support to senior management and business leaders.Familiarity with the UCC and transactions for the purchase and sale of goods.Preferred Qualifications / Additional Skills Spanish language capabilities.Familiarity with sustainability law and business efforts.Familiarity with food safety regulations.Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.Technological competence (e.g., data analytics).Benefits Medical coverage.Dental coverage.Life insurance.Short‑term and long‑term disability.401(k) with company match.Matching gift program.Employee assistance programs.Educational assistance.Service awards.Equal‑Opportunity Employer Printpack is proudly an equal‑opportunity employer.
