Job Title Educational Program Specialist ILocation Augusta University, Health Sciences Campus, 1120 15th Street, Augusta, GA 30912Employment Regular, Full-TimeOverview The Educational Program Specialist I will provide administrative academic support for programs in the Department of Allied Health Professions, assisting with recruiting and admissions process, student support, course management, and program evaluation.Responsibilities Admissions Support: Primary contact for applicants, provide information on admission requirements and program details.Review and evaluate applications, maintain applicant files, rank candidates.Maintain Excel spreadsheets tracking applicant qualifications, coordinate admissions team.Sponsor full admissions process including interviews, database management, notifications, and reporting to committees.Maintain student records, track enrollment data, prepare reports.Educational Support: Submit curriculum inventory data and Banner class rosters each semester.Create CRNs, prepare proposals, submit reports, perform overrides, coordinate classroom services.Notify students of registration instructions; enter and submit course schedules; process rosters and add/drop forms.Plan and execute August orientation and other student engagement activities.Maintain cohort mastery files, manage clinical affiliation agreements, support faculty with educational software.Recruitment: Participate in recruitment events, information sessions, and campus tours.Create recruitment materials and collaborate with undergraduate advisors.Other: Perform other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in education or an applicable field with a minimum of two years of experience with online educational programs, courseware development, or related experience, including experience working in an academic setting, student recruitment and admissions support.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge: Microsoft Word suite, databases, operating systems, and spreadsheets.Skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication; attention to detail; critical-thinking skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and resolve issues.Abilities: Ability to maintain confidentiality.Compensation & Benefits Shift: Monday–Friday, Days.Pay Band: B7.Salary: Minimum $20.29/hour – Midpoint $25.33/hour; salary commensurate with qualifications within the established range.Recruitment Period: Until Filled.Benefits available to full-time employees include health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, Teachers Retirement System (or Optional Retirement Plan), vacation time, sick leave, and 13 paid holidays.
