Position Summary This multifunctional role supports the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta by participating in the supervision of financial institutions. The primary duties involve evaluating bank applications and proposals in compliance with Reserve Bank and Federal Reserve System policies, identifying and analyzing inherent risks, reviewing quarterly progress reports, responding to supervisory action requests, and drafting enforcement actions and recommendations.Key Responsibilities Evaluate and review financial, managerial, competitive, and statutory factors for expansionary proposals.Lead the development and review of enforcement actions, collaborating with examination teams to ensure comprehensive and consistent evaluation of legal and regulatory requirements.Build and maintain strategic work relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including other Reserve Banks, Board staff, and regulatory agencies.Conduct examinations and inspections of financial institutions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and produce comprehensive reports of findings.Demonstrate balanced, well‑reasoned judgment in decision making and effectively communicate with senior management and directors of supervised institutions in potentially adversarial circumstances.Assess institutions' overall condition, risk management systems, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, statutes, and board policy.Review and edit work prepared by others for content, clarity, and accuracy.Provide guidance, training, and feedback to less experienced examiners, and serve as an instructor at formal schools or through on‑the‑job training.Serve in an Examiner in Charge role, planning, coordinating, and monitoring supervisory activities.Participate in continuing professional development programs and maintain knowledge of current regulations and industry issues.Develop and recommend appropriate supervisory actions to ensure sound practices, preparing well‑supported supervisory products and work papers.Coordinate and lead meetings with senior bank management to ensure strong communication of supervisory expectations.Benefits Comprehensive healthcare options (Medical, Dental, Vision)401(k) match and fully funded pension planPaid vacation and holidaysFlexible work environment and schedulePublic transportation subsidyTuition reimbursementProfessional development programs, training, and conferencesThe Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is an equal opportunity employer.
