Overview Akkodis is seeking a PSAP Relations Manager for a 3-year contract opportunity. This position offers 100% remote flexibility.Pay Range: $50- $55/hour. Salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Benefits include, but are not limited to: medical, dental, vision, PTO, life insurance, retirement, and STI bonus.Job Title: PSAP Relation ManagerLocation: 100% RemoteDuration: 3+ Year ContractResponsibilities Act as primary liaison with PSAPs and state agencies impacted by the decommissioning of Working Circuits (WCs) served by Local Service Requests (LSRs).Monitor and track progress of OSP migrations and SIP POI buildouts on a per-state basis, ensuring compliance with FCC regulations.Provide timely updates to state 9-1-1 offices and individual PSAPs regarding POI completion timelines.Inform public sector entities when they can officially initiate migration notifications to Outside Service Providers (OSPs).Maintain ongoing communication with PSAPs and state offices to keep them informed of migration schedules and transitions from copper/TDM to fiber-based interim Legacy or full ESInet solutions.Respond to inquiries from public sector call-taking entities to clarify project status and next steps.Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure accurate and transparent information flow without managing the actual PSAP cutover activities.Qualifications Strong understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, particularly related to TDM, fiber optics, and IP-based emergency services networks (ESInet).Experience working with Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs), state 9-1-1 offices, or in similar liaison roles preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Project tracking and coordination experience with attention to detail and deadlines.Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate technical progress into clear, actionable updates.Proactive problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.Familiarity with FCC regulations related to emergency services telecommunications is a plus.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
