Job DescriptionThe Pricing Business Partner position will be responsible for completing and coordinating pricing activities in support of assigned Ryder division.Essential FunctionsProvides financial support to ensure Ryder sells profitable deals that meet or exceed company determined hurdle ratesProvides financial and general business support to the sales and operations teams in support of collective business development effortsAssesses and incorporates risks into pricing models - able to advise team regarding risks and how to mitigate through pricing strategyStructures financial aspects of a dealDelivers well documented, timely and complete customer pricing deliverables (i.e. pricing template)Enforces the various costing/pricing processes in accordance with corporate guidelinesDevelops and manages relationships with the Ryder Field organization and other HQ groupsActively engages other Ryder functional experts as requiredWorks with team to develop and present bids and solutions to customers as necessaryAdditional ResponsibilitiesPerform other duties as assignedSkills and AbilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skillsAbility to influence internal and/or external constituentsAbility to interact with and influence senior managementAbility to manage multiple assignments and tasks, set priorities, and adapt to changing conditions and work assignmentsAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamQualificationsBachelor's degree required in Finance, Accounting or related fieldFive (5) years or more accounting/finance/business experience requiredTravel0 to 5%Target Bonus10%Job CategoryFinancial AnalysisCompensation InformationThe compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience; education, including relevant degrees or certifications; work location; market data/ranges; internal equity; internal salary ranges; etc. The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
