Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with experience in high-volume, Level 1 trauma environments for a 13-week contract position.
Details
- Work in the CT department of a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center specializing in stroke and burn cases
- Department has 3 scanners in the Emergency Care Center, 2 for inpatient use, and 1 on the neuro floor used overnight
- GE scanners in use — 2 on an older platform and 5 on the Revolution scanner platform
- Epic EMR in use
- Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts per week)
- Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
- Block scheduling is generally not approved
Requirements
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Active state license required if applicable
- Experience in high-volume, large-scale trauma environments is required — candidates with experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
- Demonstrated ability to manage critical, fast-paced, high-acuity situations
- Background working with diverse and severe trauma cases
