Reporting directly to the Vice President of Finance, in this critical role you will review and manage the corporate departments' general ledger accounts and departmental reporting (Marketing, Retail, IT, CRO and Finance). This is a vital role with future opportunities for career progression as the business grows. The candidate should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, trustworthy, and results-driven. Prior experience in general accounting, journal entries, variance analysis, and ERP systems is required.Job LocationThis position will be based out of the office in Atlanta, GA. The position will require occasional travel, as needed, up to 20% of the time.Job ResponsibilitiesCorporate Accounting: Ensure proper recording and coding of corporate costs. Assist with the monthly closing process, balance sheet reconciliations, GL review for coding accuracy, as well as internal and external audit requests and ad hoc reporting.Departmental Reporting: Analyze monthly actual performance compared to budget and provide ad hoc reporting to budget owners.
