Responsibilities include:Execute monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparation and review of general ledger entries and account reconciliations tied to payroll and insurance-related accountsEnsure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data through detailed analysis and reconciliation effortsEvaluate current accounting workflows and implement enhancements to improve efficiency, automation, and process consistencyServe as a key finance partner to internal stakeholders across HR, payroll, and operations to ensure alignment and data accuracyAct as the primary liaison with external insurance partners, supporting ongoing account maintenance and data validationDevelop supporting schedules and analytical reports to facilitate financial review and audit readinessSupport internal and external audit processes, including preparation of documentation and response to audit requestsContribute to special initiatives, system improvements, and ad hoc projects as the organization evolvesQualificationsBachelor's degree in AccountingApproximately 4‑5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate environmentsExposure to payroll, benefits, or insurance-related accounting is advantageousExperience working in mid‑to‑large scale organizations (complex, multi-entity environments preferred)Advanced Excel capabilities, including data analysis, lookup functions, and process optimizationExperience with ERP platforms and reconciliation tools (e.g., BlackLine)Exposure to payroll systems (e.g., UKG or similar platforms) is beneficialOther Qualities SeekingStrong foundation in general ledger accounting and close processesDemonstrated ability to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvementsHigh attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and deadlinesComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentEffective communicator with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with both finance and non-finance stakeholdersProven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalismSelf-directed, proactive, and motivated to take ownership of responsibilitiesTrack record of job stability required for considerationSeeking Atlanta-based talent for this opportunity.#J-18808-Ljbffr
