The role includes conducting and supervising archaeological surveys, preparing reports, evaluating resources for energy, transportation, planning, housing, and land development projects. The position requires relocation to the Atlanta area, with relocation assistance provided. Candidates should have a fundamental understanding of the Section 106 process, assessing site significance under Criterion D, and a good understanding of precontact and historic cultures of the Southeast and Tidewater Regions.We are looking for sharp, creative problem solvers passionate about archaeological and historical properties.
