This role focuses on fostering long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and connecting them with GHD's extensive technical and advisory expertise.As a Client Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for directing strategic planning for your client portfolio, identifying growth opportunities, and aligning them with GHD's diverse service offerings. Your role will involve translating client needs into actionable strategies by collaborating with technical teams, market leaders, and project managers.Key Responsibilities Customer Relationship Management: Develop and implement tailored relationship management plans for complex customer accounts, fostering relationships with key decision-makers and ensuring a continuous flow of information to address their needs.CRM System Oversight: Manage the implementation and upkeep of the CRM system for your area, suggesting improvements to enhance customer relationship management.New Client Development: Create and execute plans to build relationships with strategic, complex potential accounts at both local and national levels.Customer Needs Assessment: Consult with various client representatives to clarify their requirements, bringing in relevant internal specialists to gather and analyze crucial data.Sales Opportunity Creation: Establish a personal network of senior industry managers, represent the organization at key events, and gather market intelligence to promote GHD.Client Proposal Delivery: Collaborate with a cross-functional team to create customized solutions that meet client needs while ensuring profitability for GHD.Qualifications Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field.10-20 years of relevant project experience in the environmental sector.Proven expertise in client relationship management and business development.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including effective presentation and technical writing abilities.Benefits 401K participation begins on the first day of the month following 3 months of service.Paid time off starting at 16 days per year, increasing with service duration.Holiday pay for 9 observed holidays each year.Wellness benefits that reimburse 50% of eligible expenses up to a maximum of $250.Salary range is $150,000 - $247,000 based on experience.
