Position Overview We are on the lookout for a skilled and empathetic
Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to become a valuable member of our expanding imaging team, known for delivering outstanding patient care. Using cutting-edge ultrasound technology, you will execute crucial diagnostic procedures, engage with a team of dedicated clinicians, and provide peace of mind for patients through precise and timely imaging.
Key Responsibilities - Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations such as abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining processes clearly and with compassion
- Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly reporting any malfunctions
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation and manage patient records through the electronic medical system
- Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices
Education Requirements - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Required Certifications - Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
