Materials Clerk
The Materials Clerk uses a computer to process a high-volume inventory data, warehouse, and other related documents. This process includes data entry, scanning, indexing, and proofing information. The Materials Clerk will interact with others within the department and occasionally support other departments.

- Accurately and proficiently enter pre-determined data into our systems
- Utilize Oracle and SAP for cycle count reporting and cost rolls
- Prepare other reports as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position
Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 6am - 2:30 p.m.
40 hours per week
Occasional weekend may be required as job duties demand
Work Environment
This job works within an industrial manufacturing plant condition and elements which may include but are not limited to: noise, dirt, oil and mobile equipment. Personal Protective Equipment required includes safety glasses, ear plugs, and ANSI approved footwear.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:
- This position may require some lifting, stretching, climbing, reaching, etc. to assess inventory information. Uses computer equipment, telephone, fax machine, copier and other miscellaneous office equipment.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Requirements
Education
High School diploma or GED required
Experience
6+ months data entry experience or similar in a related environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including, but not limited to, Excel
Prior experience in SAP and/or Oracle is preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Training Requirements
Attend all Emerson required training
Attend Functions/ job specific training as required by management
