Electrical Estimator
We're hiring for an experienced Electrical Estimator. The Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and detailed estimates/project proposals for electrical construction projects while working in conjunction with engineering staff, subcontractors, vendors,general contractors, and various partners. We're looking for reliable and hard-working individuals that take pride in their work.
Responsibilities:
- Perform takeoffs, estimate organization, generate proposals, change orders, and reviews for commercial electrical construction projects
- Estimating and quantity take-offs
- Preparing and managing bid packages
- Scheduling
- Cost control
- Subcontractor management
- Client relations
- Procurement
- Bid analysis and quality control
- Supports other members of the estimating team
Requirements:
- 5+ years Electrical Construction Estimating Experience (commercial/industrial experience preferred)
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree in related field preferred
- Experience with Estimating software preferred
- Experience with technical writing preferred
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
- Basic understanding of Estimating Software
- Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a team environment with pre sales team, project management team, and other estimators within the department
