Job DetailsJob Location: Atlanta, GA 30305Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $90,000.00 - $90,000.00Travel Percentage: NoneThe Senior Accountant is responsible for leading complex accounting functions ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and all regulatory standards while delivering accurate and timely financial reporting. This position is responsible for managing general ledger operations, preparing comprehensive financial statement analysis, supporting audit processes and partnering with cross-functional teams to enable business growth in a fast‑paced environment. This position works under tight deadlines and ensures all work is accurate, timely and handled in accordance with all company policies and procedures and state and federal guidelines.This is a full time hybrid position with a 9am-5pm schedule (flexible).ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS General Accounting and Close Prepare journal entries related to revenue, cost of sales, prepaids, accruals, and fixed assetsSupport month‑end close, including accruals, amortizations, and variance analysisMaintain account reconciliations (cash, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other balance sheet accounts)Perform ad‑hoc financial reporting and analysis as neededProactively initiate cross‑training within the department and serve as a back‑up for other functions to ensure proper coverageCompliance and Process Improvement Support internal/external audit requests; maintain a strong internal control environment and GAAP complianceEnsure compliance with tax reporting and other regulatory requirementsBuild, document and continuously improve scalable accounting processes and workflows; contribute to system initiatives and automationAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Tax Review AP/vendor bills for accuracy and proper allocation; approve employee expense reports with correct GL codingAnalyze AP and AR aging, flag items for follow‑up, and assist with credit/debit memos and customer refundsAssist with sales/use tax filings and ensure compliance with relevant regulationsM&A Integration Assist with onboarding acquired entities into the ERP, aligning accounting processes, reporting structures, and bank accountsCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate processes and drive consistency across the organizationQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; a minimum of three years related experienceStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls and audit supportProficient in Excel and ERP systemsCPA or CPA track preferredMust be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, fractions, hours & minutes, and possess the ability to compute rates and percentagesMust maintain 99% numeric keystroke accuracyProficient in multiple software programs, including but not limited to Great Plains, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and the InternetAbility to follow instructions and respond to management's directions accuratelyAbility to demonstrate a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information; looks for ways to improve and promote quality and monitors own work to ensure quality is metAbility to collect and research data and analyze complex or diverse informationMust demonstrate exceptional communication skills by conveying necessary information accurately, listening effectively and asking questions where clarification is neededMust work independently, prioritize work activities and use time efficientlyMust maintain confidentialityMust stay focused and concentrate under normal or heavy distractionsMust work well under pressure and or strict deadlinesMust promote a positive team‑oriented environmentMust manage and direct change, delays or unexpected events appropriatelyMust follow all company policies and procedures in effect at the time of hire and as they may change or be added from time to timeBENEFITS Medical coverageVision coverageDental coveragePaid time off401kEqual Opportunity Employer.
