Commercial Electrical Estimator Location: Atlanta Metro

About the Role A well-established electrical contracting firm is seeking a
highly experienced Commercial Electrical Estimator with strong design-build expertise. This position requires someone who can immediately step into a fast-paced environment and produce accurate, complete electrical estimates from conceptual narratives or schematic information.
This is a hands-on estimating role for an experienced professional who thrives on precision, communication, and delivering results under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare detailed design-build electrical estimates from narratives, square footage, and conceptual drawings
- Develop complete electrical designs and pricing proposals independently
- Manage multiple bid deadlines and client requests in a fast-paced environment
- Review specifications, drawings, and addenda to ensure all requirements are captured
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure estimates align with field conditions and client expectations
- Utilize Electrical Bid Manager (EBM) or equivalent software at a high level of proficiency
- Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams
Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably in commercial and light industrial projects
- Proven expertise in design-build estimating - able to produce complete electrical scope from limited information
- Electrical Bid Manager (EBM) or equivalent estimating software
- Strong field background and real-world understanding of electrical installations
- Ability to thrive in high-pressure, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Consistent work history - stable tenure preferred (no job-hoppers)
