Full job descriptionOverviewWe are looking to hire a full-time talented and experienced Video Editor to join our busy production team. Candidates should be natural storytellers and creatives first. This position works closely with SVP of Creative Services, Producers, 3D Generalists, Graphic Designers, Storyboard Artist, Illustrators, and other post‑production team members, and reports to the SVP of Creative Services.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPlan and perform video post‑production tasks, including reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, developing rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, color grading, motion graphics, animation, audio and music, and final editing using Adobe Premiere/DaVinci ResolveCollaborate with the team throughout post production to meet the creative and technical goals of each unique projectVideo Editors will have multiple projects assigned; therefore, time management and flexibility are key to successfully stay on scheduleAssist in studio productionsSupport the team throughout the creative and production processPerform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned to support the Creative Department teamKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust be proficient in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, and After EffectsStrong finishing skills: able to handle color correction, color grading, sound effects, motion graphics, and possess the capability to deliver high quality design and stylized contentStrong understanding of editing principles and current digital trends, with an ability to tell a cohesive storyFinger on the pulse of viral digital video trends, with a knack for creativeAbility to problem solve, work through issues, and produce under the pressure of deadlinesMust have impeccable organizational and communication skillsAbility to effectively manage time and schedulesDemonstrated ability to work independently on multiple assignments and to work collaboratively within a team requiredEducation & ExperienceAt least 4 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specifiedCompleted degree(s) from an accredited institution preferred#J-18808-Ljbffr
