Med Lab Technologist – Clinical Laboratory
Schedule: Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Days: Varies Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within specialty
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Certification: ASCP, AMT, or AAB
- Experience with Sysmex and CellaVision systems
- Familiarity with handling complex samples, including turbid specimens and abnormal cell findings
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and analyses with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage and process specimens, including complex samples
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain laboratory equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain compliance with laboratory standards
