Credit Support Analyst
The Credit Support Analyst sits within Voya's Private Credit group, and is responsible for assisting in investment management, process execution, and client support activities of the private credit team.
The Contributions You Will Make
1. Portfolio Monitoring & Investment Process - assist the team as they:
- Monitor credit quality of portfolio credit assets and compliance with debt covenants.
- Maintain communication with borrowers.
- Research new investment opportunities, analyze credit profiles, and create deliverables for committees and clients.
- Review and negotiate amendment and waiver requests.
- Coordinate and maintain complete files on individual portfolio investments.
2. Investment Process & Client Support
- Become proficient with proprietary credit database, other systems, and trade execution process.
- Coordinate among credit, portfolio management, legal, middle office, and operations teams, as well as other stakeholders, to process operational matters and updates to investment records.
- Provide operational support to primary and secondary transaction teams as needed.
- Provide process support to portfolio management team in allocating transactions among accounts.
- Prepare materials and data analyses as needed to support portfolio management, client service, and sales initiatives.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field, and intent to pursue a CFA designation.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in credit underwriting and/or operations, debt capital markets preferred.
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles
- Familiarity with basic bond market terminology and bond investing concepts
- Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong computer skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer orientation & desire to interact positively with internal and external parties.
- Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Solid planning & organizing skills.
- Teammate, positive attitude, eager to learn in a supporting role.
Compensation Pay Disclosure
Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$75,000 to $100,000 USD
