Digital Technology Analyst I
Location: Atlanta, GA Contract- 1 Year Client: Southern Company Services.
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Digital Technology Analyst I to support the management, security, and optimization of the company's digital systems and infrastructure.
This entry-level to early-career role is responsible for maintaining servers, databases, and cloud-based platforms while providing technical support to end users. The ideal candidate has foundational IT knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to system reliability and security.
Key Responsibilities
Systems Administration & Maintenance
- Manage and maintain digital systems including servers, databases, and cloud-based platforms.
- Deploy and configure software applications and system updates.
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability of digital assets.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and maintain security protocols to protect digital assets.
- Monitor systems for potential security breaches.
- Assist with user account management and access control.
- Monitor software license usage and ensure compliance.
Backup & Data Management
- Oversee data backup and recovery procedures.
- Manage and optimize data storage solutions.
- Ensure data integrity and accessibility.
End-User Support
- Provide technical support for digital tools and applications.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Assist users with access requests and system-related inquiries.
Documentation & Inventory Management
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes and procedures, software licenses, and hardware inventory.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand technology needs.
- Collaborate with IT professionals and vendors for system upgrades and enhancements.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or digital technology roles.
- Basic knowledge of servers and databases, cloud platforms, user access management.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to document processes clearly and accurately.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Windows/Linux server fundamentals.
- Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
- User account management (Active Directory or similar).
- Backup and recovery tools.
- Basic network troubleshooting.
- Microsoft Office Suite.
