About the Role: A respected Atlanta law firm is seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. This role requires a proactive and assertive individual who can work independently while being an effective team player. The ideal candidate will have strong client communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a desire to excel in a dynamic legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming communications promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain organization of a high volume of HOA/CA collection matters.
- Accurately and timely review pleadings, motions, and complaints.
- Correspond professionally with homeowners and clients.
- Manage and calendar a high volume of case deadlines.
- Communicate and negotiate effectively with property owners.
- Support paralegal staff as needed.
- Draft, review, and revise association governing documents, CC&Rs, bylaws, and other regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Law Degree and admission to the Georgia Bar (required).
- High proficiency with technology, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Familiarity with IManage is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with a high standard of professional excellence.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to client satisfaction.
- Experience in community association collections is a plus.
- Familiarity with Pacer, Odyssey eFileGA, PeachCourt, and other electronic filing systems.
- 3+ years of collection experience.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Adaptable to changing priorities.
