We believe that with proper support, education and encouragement, families can establish goals and a value base that will guide them in their development.Mental Health Therapist Responsibilities & DutiesProvide direct in home & school-based clinical treatment/therapeutic counseling as appropriate to children, adolescents, and parents or guardiansDevelop treatment plans, implement interventions, review outcomes, revisit/revise strategies, and employ other methods compatible with agency principles and practicesEngage client, supports, caregivers and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagementCollaborate with all relevant internal/external systems/participants to ensure buy-in and cooperation, and to maximize effectiveness throughout treatmentLink consumers to additional resources as appropriate, including schools, DFCS, medical support, etc.Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts which promote peer and supervisory review and feedbackParticipate in agency staff, supervision, and external professional development opportunities to extend knowledge and remain current on best practicesMental Health Therapist Qualifications & SkillsMust have already completed master's degree in counseling, social work or related human services fieldAssociate license (LAMFT, LAPC, LMSW) or full licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in Georgia is preferredTwo years of community- or home-based mental health counseling experienceBilingual in Spanish and English is a plusTraining and experience in evidence-based treatment modelsDemonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse culturesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsFlexible work schedule with the ability to work evenings/weekendsValid driver's license, vehicle & laptopJob Type: Full-timeSalary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour#J-18808-Ljbffr
