We are the owners of JenChan's and recently opened up our deli inside Mikkelson's Market (our neighborhood bodega). This is a walk up, counter service environment so the speed and quality of the sandwiches produced is the most important thing; most people are coming on their lunch break to grab a hot chopped cheese and go back to work. Volume can get quite high for the small team so experience and time management is super important. Our menu is posted on our website: www.mikkelsonsmarket.com and will change seasonally. Hourly pay PLUS the kitchen splits tips with the foh team which can significantly increase the pay. We are currently open in the kitchen from 8am - 2pm Tuesday - Saturday but are training to expand those hours to Tuesday - Friday 8am - 8pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am - 6pm.
