Applicants will develop or advance a focused program of funded research and teaching in the graduate program. Possible courses include Research Methods and Statistics. Other responsibilities include student advisement and mentoring, and service to the department and university.Required ExperienceFor Associate Professor rank: At least 7 years of prior academic experience with a strong record of research productivity, including publications in top‑tier journals and successful grantmanship.Required EducationPhD, ScD, EdD, or equivalent research doctoral degree in Health Sciences or a related discipline.Preferred Qualifications/ExperienceRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Prior teaching and clinical experienceAt least 2 years of clinical and/or didactic teaching experienceExperience with publications and scientific presentationsKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong oral and written communication skillsProficiency in diverse instructional methodsExcellent organizational and technological skillsAttention to detail and demonstrated expertise in instructional technologyAbility to work independently and collaborativelyLicenses, Certifications, or RegistrationsMust be eligible for licensure in Georgia.Pre‑Employment RequirementsA criminal background check and official transcripts are required.Work HoursFlexible schedule.
