Senior Staff Accountant - HYBRID - Sandy Springs, GAOur well-established client needs to add a Senior Staff Accountant to their growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will be coming out of a Big 4 or national CPA firm audit role or have a mix of Big 4 or national firm audit and corporate accounting experience.DutiesContribute to an environment where people and technology thrive together to accomplish more efficient and accurate processesAssist with month-end close process, including timely and accurate preparation of journal entries with supporting documentationDemonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problemsSeek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments and perspectivesDevelop a thorough understanding of the Accounting function including people, process, and technologies to assist in documenting procedures and data/process flowsEnsure that all financial information is recorded in accordance with GAAP, federal and state laws and is consistent with Company's established policies and procedures with an understanding of when to elevatePerform balance sheet reconciliations with an ability to research and analyze variancesResearch any unusual variances in activity or balancesAssist in the preparation of audit support for year-end audit as neededPrepare ad hoc analyses and financial reports as requestedRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting3+ years professional experience in a directly applicable field with increasing levels of responsibility.BIG 4 or Regional firm Audit experience preferred.Strong critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions to problemsDetailed oriented and able to set prioritiesOur client offers a salary of $85,000 to $100,000 plus full benefits including matching 401k.Click here to apply online#J-18808-Ljbffr
