Position Summary The Kindergarten Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports young children's academic, social, and emotional growth.
Key Responsibilities - Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
- Support children's development in literacy, numeracy, social skills, and motor skills
- Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment
- Observe and assess student progress and maintain accurate records
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student development
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff
- Ensure classroom safety and follow school policies and procedures
Qualifications - Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Teaching license/certification (as required by local regulations)
- Experience working with young children preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching
Work Environment - Classroom-based, working with children ages 4-6
- Requires standing, movement, and active engagement throughout the day
