Position TitleClinical Instructor / Clinical Assistant Professor of Respiratory TherapyPosition DescriptionThe Department of Respiratory Therapy at the Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions invites applications for a 9‑month non‑tenured track position at the rank of Clinical Instructor or Clinical Assistant Professor. The position offers an exciting opportunity to begin or further a career in respiratory therapy education in a large, well‑established program that offers Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees and serves nearly 200 students. Teaching is valued, and collaboration with faculty is required.ResponsibilitiesTeaching respiratory therapy courses across in‑person, online, or blended modalities; integrating critical‑thinking and simulation into instruction; collaborating with colleagues in course design and delivery; and supporting student learning and professional development.Minimum QualificationsRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)At least two years of clinical and/or didactic teaching experienceMaster's degree with at least 18 credits in respiratory therapyLicenses, Certifications, and RegistrationsMust be eligible for licensure in the state of GeorgiaMust be willing to begin a doctoral program within 12 months of hirePre-Employment RequirementsCriminal background checkOfficial transcriptsWork HoursFlexible schedule.
