Occupational Therapist – Lymphedema
Schedule: Monday/Wednesday: 9:45 AM – 6:15 PM - Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM - Weekends: None
Assignment Details: Daily Patient Census: Approximately 5–7 patients/day
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience - Lymphedema certification - Georgia state Occupational Therapy license (or Compact license) - NBCOT certification - BLS certification - Experience in lymphedema management and compression-related care - Skills in outpatient adult rehabilitation, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, splinting, adaptive equipment assessment, and patient/family education - Experience with Epic charting system
Roles & Responsibilities: Evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients with lymphedema and related conditions. Provide outpatient rehabilitation services, including reassessment of patient progress. Educate patients and families regarding care strategies for lymphedema management. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including other therapists and lymphedema vendors.
Compliance / Notes: Pre-approved time off: 1 day permitted. Orientation: 4 hours (details determined by contract). Compliance required for on-time start; deadlines for documentation submission must be met. Requests for time off policy: Maximum of 7 days. Holiday expectation: Traveler expected to work one major holiday if it falls during the assignment, with details on additional holidays outlined in contract.
