Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Acute Neuro Unit Med/Surg position requiring a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Acute Neuro Unit within a hospital setting
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active GA or Compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; ACLS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg or Acute Neuro experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility as permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
Additional Information
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront prior to offer acceptance — requests cannot be made after an offer is extended
- AHA certifications must be current and not expired at time of submission
