Description
Directly supervises non-exempt and exempt staff; provides leadership for department and system, including staff not under direct reporting.
Hires, coaches, develops/trains, conducts performance evaluations and disciplinary action and other supervisory duties for staff
Recruits and manages portfolio of positions
Participates in recruitment system design and development
Manages and supports talent acquisition through policies, procedures, processes, training and meetings
Facilitates and leads teams and projects
Creates and maintains relationships with outside organizations, such as state job service, service agencies, and other job seekers support groups
Represents Emory Healthcare at various meetings and with organization or community groups
Supports Emory HealthCare's inclusiveness and diversity efforts
Provides on-going training and guidance to staff, managers and others
Coordinates with outside agencies and organizations to proactively support plan, including building and maintaining positive relationships and coordinating events and activities
Summarizes and analyzes data and information; makes recommendations
Researches one time and on-going topics, questions or concerns
Problem solves requests and customer service issues
Performs other duties as required
Job Requirements/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field required
Five (5) years previous experience in Talent Acquisition or Human Resources with at least three years in APP or Physician Recruitment experience
Previous supervisor experience strong preferred
Comprehensive understanding of employment laws and regulations, interviewing techniques, selection and hiring processes, practices and strategies.
Word processing (MS Word), spreadsheet (MS Excel), and presentation (MS PowerPoint) at an intermediate level.
Previous applicant tracking system/database experience
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
