Business Analyst
Employer: Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Information Technology Location: Atlanta, Georgia Role: Support the Server Applications Team, interface with business unit to review requirements, lead JAD sessions, schedule meetings, prepare test plans, and create system requirement documents for specific projects Responsibilities: Facilitate training, analyze business requirements, assist in development phase, consult with vendors or technical staff, develop change management plans, document business processes, evaluate new technologies, establish standards and procedures, provide customer support, research and analyze system/user problems, test new installations or upgrades, and other responsibilities assigned by supervisor Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years' experience as an IT Business Analyst Preferred qualifications: Experience implementing business analysis techniques, experience with project life cycles and methodologies, experience with Use Case Modeling, experience facilitating user requirements sessions, experience conducting JAD sessions, experience supporting business in UAT, experience writing use cases, excellent analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Visio and standard software applications Must be local to the Metro Atlanta Area.
