Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate or a related field required; supplemented by five years of experience in commercial real estate, investment sales, capital markets, or business; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Specific License or Certification Required: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the performance of commercial and real estate transactions; knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and the ability to learn new products; database modeling and design; development of protocols, processes, and procedures for developing databases and reports; preferred. Must have an ability to learn, comprehend, and apply all county or departmental policies, practices, and procedures necessary to function effectively in the position. Real Estate Specialist positions require knowledge of real property acquisition, real estate laws, principles, practices, and markets. This includes an understanding of real estate concepts and practices along with in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local government procedures and statutes.
Must have an ability to read and proof legal documents; to work collaboratively in teams and independently; and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
Must possess excellent grammar and writing skills, phone skills, strong customer service and interpersonal skills, good problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented, and possess the ability to display behaviors and a commitment to the organization's core values.
