Position Details
We are seeking a full-time, licensed Dental Hygienist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator who is passionate about patient education and advocacy, values teamwork, and demonstrates excellent time management skills.
Schedule:
- Monday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- Tuesday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Occasional Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities: - Perform thorough dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive hygiene services
- Educate patients on oral health, home care, and treatment recommendations
- Serve as a patient advocate by addressing concerns and supporting informed decision-making
- Accurately chart clinical findings and maintain complete patient records
- Collaborate closely with doctors and team members to ensure high-quality, efficient care
- Manage appointment times effectively while maintaining a high standard of patient care
- Follow all infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
Required Qualifications - Active Georgia Dental Hygienist license in good standing
- Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate patients
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-focused care

Qualifications: - Current dental hygienist license
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation
- CPR Certification
Preferred Experience - Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
- Clinical needs as required by office
- Completion of Tuberculosis (TB) testing prior to starting employment
