A retail pharmacist position is available on a per diem basis, providing critical support across a network of four independently owned pharmacies in the Atlanta metro area. This role offers the opportunity to grow into a part-time floater position, covering up to 30-35 hours per week across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications and provide counseling to a diverse patient base
- Manage pharmacy operations including handling specialty medications and packaging for mail or courier delivery
- Utilize PrimeRX software to process prescriptions efficiently (experience preferred)
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacy staff across all locations to ensure seamless service delivery
Desired Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience
- Comfortable working independently and floating between multiple pharmacy sites
- Strong communication skills for interacting with a diverse population of patients
- Familiarity with specialty medication handling is a plus
Schedule:
- Hours typically from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Flexible per diem schedule with the potential to increase hours as role expands
