Trucking Operation Specialist
Manage full-cycle domestic trucking operations, including FTL and LTL shipments, from load planning through final delivery and settlement. Coordinate with warehouses and customers to ensure accurate freight pickup, delivery scheduling, and dock appointments.Secure and manage carrier capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and monitor service performance to meet operational KPIs. Track and oversee transportation schedules, proactively addressing delays, service disruptions, or accessorial issues. Prepare, review, and verify transportation documentation (BOL, rate confirmations, invoices, delivery receipts) to ensure compliance and accuracy. Oversee billing processes, including issuing customer invoices (A/R), auditing carrier invoices (A/P), and resolving discrepancies. Monitor shipment-level profitability and analyze margins to ensure cost control and performance targets are achieved. Maintain accurate shipment and financial records within TMS/ERP systems, ensuring timely load closure and reporting. Collaborate with customers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve delivery, damage, shortage, or claim-related issues efficiently. Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen carrier partnerships.
0~3 years of hands-on logistics operations experience (freight forwarding, carrier management, shipment planning, tracking). Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with logistics systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook), and basic reporting tools. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
