Permanent NP – Neonatology
Location: Macon, Georgia
Momentum Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a permanent Neonatology position in Macon, Georgia. This role provides the opportunity to care for critically ill and premature newborns in a high-acuity NICU, collaborating closely with neonatologists and a skilled neonatal care team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive assessment, monitoring, and management of neonates
Assist with procedures within NP scope of practice, including intubation, line placement, and medication administration
Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and NICU staff to optimize patient outcomes
Educate families on neonatal care, treatment plans, and discharge preparation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Qualifications:
Current Nurse Practitioner license in Georgia (or ability to obtain)
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification required
Experience in NICU or high-acuity neonatal care preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
